Welcome

The Intersociety Pathology Council (IPC) is an informal organization which serves as a communication center and provides a unified voice for the discipline of pathology in North America.  The IPC, formed in 1968, is presently composed of representatives of 27 pathology organizations.

Its objectives are to serve:
1. as a national forum for discussion of matters of interest and concern to North American pathology;
2. as a clearinghouse for scheduling of national meetings; and
3. as a means of facilitating communications among national pathology organizations.
